Girls,
It's been way too long since I've written. I know we talk on the phone and I am so glad you had a great camping trip-seeing the raccoon and hiking for miles...but it's not the same as when you open up this page and see that Gramma has written you two a letter to say that I love you!

Well, I love you!

Gramma and grampa went away for our twenty-seventh anniversary, which is a celebration about two people that love each other for a long time...since we were young like mommy and daddy. We drove to a town called San Marcos and stayed at a motel; then we went to see the San Marcos river and I went into the river to wet my feet, when Grampa told me there was a snake in the water...here is its picture. He wasn't afraid of us at all, but I was of him. He was probably a poisonous snake and could have hurt me if he had bit me. So, I got out of the water and took pictures from the edge of the water.

After that day, we went to a small town named 'Gruene', but it's said like the color-green! We went to a coffee shop, then to a bunch of different little shops and finally we came home and went swimming! Then we went and picked up your uncle Isaac and your uncle Caleb. Uncle Josh stayed overnite last nite. Did he stay at your house when he came to see you?
What did you do with Josh and Dan? Did you have fun with them?
Tell me all about your camping trip, please, Hailey! I love to camp.
Did mommy ever tell you about when she was a little girl and we went camping? What did she tell you? Did daddy camp when he was a boy?
I heard Trinity cut two teeth on your trip! How exciting. Did you see any bears when you were at Alleghany? That place is one of Gramma's favorite places in the whole world. If we come up there sometime, I want to go there with you and your sister, ok?
Kiss Trinny Trin for me, ok?
I love you girls so much.
Forever your gramma!
